About the Episode

LifeBlood REI: We talked about commercial real estate investing, the necessity of being able to speak the language of your profession, recognizing a void in the market and filling it, and working to help Americans become financially independent.

We discussed Jesse’s motivation for going to West Point, how he served two tours of duty in Iraq, leading 120 men in combat and retiring as a Captain in the the United States Army.

We talked about his experience leaving the military and transitioning to a new career, getting his MBA while working full time, learning to speak the language of his industry and how he got into commercial real estate investing.

We discussed how he was able to learn an immense amount, become an expert and how he recognized the danger of jargon when communicating about a potential opportunity, and the need to speak in a way that is relatable and understandable.

We talked about how he was frustrated by the high minimums to invest in commercial real estate and how he went about starting a company and democratizing the process of doing so, and how others can participate with Jesse Prince, Founder and CEO of HappyNest, a commercial real estate investment app allowing people to invest in commercial real estate with as little as $10.

Listen to learn why adopting a lifelong learner mentality will immediately serve you and will continue doing so for the rest of your life!
